The World @ My Fingertips

I was over at my uncle’s place this evening. He invited us for dinner and the kids had a great time playing with my cousin’s kids too. It’s been a long time since i last went over as they so far away from my place. It’s more than 20 kilometers away. Hubby’s free today as he doesnt have to go back to the office and i bugged him to drive me all the way there. He grumbled a bit but it told him my uncle bought some Absinthe Green Fairy and he will be opening them this evening.

I’ve stopped drinking for years. I cant drink now as i’m still breastfeeding my baby, who shows no signs of ever wanting to wean off me. I’m actually dying to have a sip of the Absinthe. I cannot recall the last time i had it. My uncle brought some back from Czech when he was working there more than 10 years back. Hubby only tried it once at a friend’s place and he says it’s a great liquor. Too bad i didnt get to try it this evening. My uncle still has a few bottles. He’s agreed to keep some for me after i’ve weaned off Malcolm for good. Till then.
