Would you like to go to Spain?

An old classmate of mine quit her day job to stay home with her kids. She thought she will enjoy being a full time stay at home mom to her twins, but she soon found out that it’s not enjoyable after all. All day long, she has to cook, feed and change nappies. Not one, but for two young infants. She doesnt have a domestic helper and she still needs to do a lot of household chores. She told me it’s very tiring and she feels like sending both her daughters to a nanny and goes back to work. She cannot stand staying at home all day long without meeting people like she used to before she quit her job.

What my friend lacks is human interaction. Her hubby travels often and she’s alone with the kids most of the time. I’ve told her many times to take up a hobby like knitting or scrapbooking but she says she doesnt like it. She says she’w waiting for her hubby’s return so that she can go on a holiday. She’s planning for a Family or group holiday in Spain and told me how she missed the days when her twins werent around then. Yes, i think a holiday will certainly do her good. I’d like to go to Spain for a family holiday too. maybe i’ll go bug hubby to take us there next month when my kid’s school holiday starts.
