Become a Champion Violinist

Did you learn music when you were young? I learned the piano, but havent touched one for years. I doubt if i can still play the scales, lol. Only one niece is learning the piano now. The rest of them play the violin. Given the choice, i’d prefer learning the violin too. I find that it’s more practical that we can take it along with us anywhere. I can take it out for practise whenever i want to, unlike a piano whereby i need to stay home to practise.

I heard my sister telling me that she is looking for some Violin videos for her daughters to watch. She bought her a Suzuki violin recently and would like her to improve her playing. A friend of mine told me she bought the AMP Violin Lessons on DVD for her son recently available at Academy of Music Performance. It’s improved his playing very much and he’s more confident now. I believe my niece will benefit from the DVD too. Hope she’ll become a champion violinist one day

I love the violin. The expression that one can achieve through vibrato and tone quality is second to none. However, I’m not completely convinced of your arguement with respect to the violin being more practical than the piano. Sure, a violin is portable. However, a piano is found in many households and practically every educational institute. Also, pianists have many options in terms of careers. There instrument ensures that they will have many students, and they tend to be in high demand (studio work, accompanying jobs, etc…). Thanks for the post.
